Christmas Cards

I've been working on Christmas cards lately for us and several friends. I've been waiting for them to send them out before I post them. Don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Edited to add the cards now that they have been sent and received. Thanks to the 2Peas ladies for the great templates!

Posting Comments

I made some changes to the way comments can be posted for those of you who keep telling me you want to comment, but don't have a blogger or yahoo account. I have heard stories from others who opened their blogs up for comments and then kept getting hit with a bunch of spam comments and links to other websites, even inappropriate websites. If that starts happening, I'll change it to where I have to approve comments before they can be posted. Please post comments using your name so I know who is posting. Thanks for taking a look at our blog. It's nice to know that we are loved!

Trying Some Sepia Conversions

I'm not usually a big fan of the sepia looks, but I had a request to change this to sepia and I really like it!

I also tried something I've never tried before until now. This is a sepia conversion with some color added back in from the original color version. I think it gives it a cool acid-washed look. I've tried this with black and white, but never sepia. Thanks for getting me to try something new!

Moss/Brown Family Photos

I had so much fun taking these pictures! Everyone was willing to try anything and everything. The only time we could get everyone together was at 11a.m., so the lighting was pretty harsh, but I think we got tons of great photos. These are a few of my favorites. Hope you like them. I'll get them plus the others to you next week.

Isn't he a doll?! Look at those eyes.

The whole family:

Happy 30th Anniversary! You two are so sweet.

They are such a lovely family. They all pose like models without even being told what to do!

I LOVE black and white photos so I added a few for you.

I thought this was so sweet how the boys were holding hands! Use this photo as blackmail when they are arguing as teenagers. (Ha-ha!)

Another super sweet couple!

All the grandkids smiling and holding hands! Don't you wish they were always like this?!

There is a story behind this photo! Their Daddy/Uncle had been trying to get them to smile by standing behind me making bunny ears, hollering squirrel, rabbit, etc. Well, he starts hollering, "SNAKE!" I thought he was joking so I kept taking photos. He was SERIOUS! There was a snake about 4 1/2 feet long that crawled right BETWEEN my feet! I got a picture as it crawled away, but it's pretty blurry because my hands were shaking. (I HATE snakes!!!!) It's a good thing I thought he was joking. It probably would have bit me if I hadn't been standing still.

I wonder what she is thinking.

I didn't want to leave the baby out of the family photos. :-)

We also took a side trip to the pumpkin patch.

The CUTEST Family

Yesterday, I had the privilege of taking photos for the sweetest family! Our pastor, his wife, and their beautiful boys.

This is their youngest son. Isn't he the cutest with those big blue eyes and that red hair?!

This is their oldest son, one of my son's buddies. He is always smiling and laughing. I had the best time following him around with him saying, "Let's take a picture over here. Now over there..."

These two are such sweet brothers.

Here are the lucky parents:

The boys look so tiny since their Daddy is so tall.

We found a huge stump to take pictures on, but we didn't want the boys to fall, so we told them to hold on to each other. He looks so protective of his little brother!

Dad even climbed up there with them! He was such a trooper in this Texas heat wearing a suit!

What's a little boy to do after the photos are finished? Why jump in the pool, of course, with brand new clothes and all! The expression on his face is like, "Oooh... I'm going to be in trouble now!" But, how could anyone get upset with such a cutie pie?!

This was so much fun! We'll have to do it again some time!

After the Wedding

Entering the reception as Mr. and Mrs. Lucius:

Running through the bubbles leaving the reception:

I hope you both are enjoying the cruise! We wish you lots of happiness!

The Ceremony

This photo is a miracle photo. No one ever thought that this would be possible when Rebecca's dad had a stroke almost 19 years ago.

Domingo, his son Domingo Jr., and Rebecca all lit the unity candle together.

They left the church to "It's Your Season to be Blessed".

The full wedding party (except Jack, he fell asleep!):
